We have this rule at my apartment building in Los Angeles, too. \ud83d\ude41<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Berlin is the single most grafitti-soaked city I have ever been in. \u00a0I keep expecting to see graffiti on restaurant menus.\u00a0 I swear I saw graffiti on a baby.\u00a0 The Berliners do seem to like their graffiti.<\/p><\/div>\n

Had a terrific day following young Kevin the Tourguide\u2019s advice on fun neighborhoods to explore.\u00a0 I went to three of them, all in old East Berlin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then I grabbed a bite and went on to more touristy stuff \u2013 I do<\/em> have photos to get, after all.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I revisited the Jewish Holocaust Memorial. It\u2019s impressive yet a bit troubling that the city of Berlin didn\u2019t seem the feel the need to erect one until \u2013 wait for it \u2013 2003<\/em>.\u00a0 Seriously?\u00a0 Wow.<\/p>\n

Yeah, it took them until 2004 to build a memorial in Berlin to the Jews murdered by the Nazis.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I also found the easily-overlooked memorial to the homosexual victims of the Holocaust.\u00a0 Some people may not know that thousands of gay men were sent to the camps along with other targeted groups \u2013 Jews, gypsies, Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses, and members of other \u201cundesirable\u201d groups.\u00a0 The memorial was unveiled in 2008.\u00a0 It\u2019s underwhelming, but I\u2019m still glad it\u2019s there.<\/p>\n

I then took a stroll down to the busy commercial district of Potstamerstrasse and saw the godawful boring 3D movie Thor<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Jesus what a dull movie.\u00a0 But then, I think most supehero movies are dull, dull, dull.\u00a0 The list of comic book movies I like is rather small:<\/p>\n
