Why would I want to visit Scandinavia in the first place?<\/p>\n

Oh, come on.\u00a0 It\u2019s Sweden. It\u2019s Denmark.\u00a0 It\u2019s Norway.<\/p>\n

I’ve been drawn to these places for as long as I can remember. \u00a0There’s just something magical to me about all those beautiful storybook cities sprinkled across little archipelagos. \u00a0The snow, the mountains, the lakes, the politics: \u00a0It’s just always clicked with me.<\/p>\n

There are a million reasons to go.\u00a0 Aside from all of the obvious ones, here\u2019s a few really specific ones for me:<\/p>\n

Trolls\"troll_hunter_blu_ray\"<\/h1>\n

I\u2019m a documentary junkie, and one of my all-time favorite documentaries of Trollhunter<\/em><\/strong>, which tells the shocking true behind-the-scenes story of how the Norwegian\u00a0government secretly controls the wild population of trolls.\u00a0 I hope to see some troll action while I\u2019m in Norway.<\/p>\n

Vikings<\/h1>\n

I don\u2019t really have to explain this one, do I?\"viking<\/a> \"viking<\/a><\/p>\n

The Scream<\/h1>\n

The one by Edvard Munch.\u00a0 Okay, there\u2019s four of them, but one of them is in Oslo.<\/p>\n

The Girl with the International Book and Movie Franchise<\/h1>\n

Did you READ these books?\u00a0 Did you SEE the movies?\u00a0 If they\u2019re not enough to make you want to visit Stockholm, you\u2019ve got no blood in your veins. \u00a0And the Millennium Trilogy is merely the most famous of the exploding film and fiction genre of Nordic Noir. \u00a0If you haven’t seen it, you should check out Headhunters, <\/em><\/strong>and read the book as well!<\/p>\n

Train Rides<\/h1>\n

I’m a huge fan of train travel, and I’ll be doing a LOT of that on this trip, including \u00a0a very special journey that I’ll discuss more in an upcoming episode.<\/p>\n

There are more reasons, but these are plenty enough to get started on.<\/p>\n
