On my first day in Stockholm, I purchased something called the Stockholm City Card.\u00a0 It\u2019s a sort of open\u00a0pass to public transportation and many museums and other attractions.\u00a0 Seemed like a no-brainer to me.<\/p>\n

Now that my time in Stockholm is done, I have to say I have mixed feelings about the purchase.<\/p>\n

The three-day version the card cost about $108.00 USD.\u00a0 With that price tag, I really felt compelled to use it like crazy!\u00a0 Every time I\u2019d pull it out to use on another subway ride, or tram ride, or museum ticket, I\u2019d recalculated in my head:\u00a0 \u201cOkay, now I\u2019ve used it six times.\u00a0 That means that I\u2019ve paid $18 for each thing I\u2019ve done.\u00a0 Is it worth it yet?\u00a0 Is it worth it yet?<\/em><\/p>\n

I ended up going into more museums than I really should have, and spending less time just roaming around outside, which I love to do.\u00a0 And besides, one of the museums I was most interested in \u2013 The New ABBA Museum (judge me if you must) \u2013 wasn\u2019t included in the card.
\n\"IG_Old_Tower\"<\/a>Researching my next stop, Copenhagen, I learned that it has a City Card, too, but it also has a public transportation card as well, that\u2019s much cheaper.\u00a0 Like $23 for a 48 hour pass.\u00a0 That\u2019s what I\u2019m going to do.\u00a0 Spend much less and simply enjoy roaming around the city.\u00a0 If there\u2019s a museum I really want to see, I\u2019ll pay for it.\u00a0 So there.<\/p>\n

Update:\u00a0 Turns out I didn\u2019t even need the transport pass in Copenhagen:\u00a0 I planned my activities so well I paid less than eleven dollars total for all of my running around.<\/p>\n

Side note:\u00a0 Copenhagen is noticeably<\/em> less expensive than Stockholm.<\/p>\n
