When the fun finally relents<\/p>\n

And the heat finally slips off of the streets and streets<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 spilling into the drains and on to the river<\/p>\n

And our cadence finally slows down<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 as we stroll through twilight air that\u2019s as thick as pudding<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 but somehow no longer uncomfortable<\/p>\n

And we start to think about easier things<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 like dinner or a stranger\u2019s dog:<\/p>\n

Washington finally begins to feel<\/p>\n
