\u2013 New York<\/h2>\n<h3>Distance traveled today:\u00a0 445<\/h3>\n<h3>Distance traveled so far:\u00a0 2760<\/h3>\n<p> Very happy to be heading off to New York!\u00a0 It\u2019s such a rare treat to be sent to New York on a project,  since there are lots of contractors there who usually get those assignments.<\/p>\n<p> I have had my tickets for <strong><em>The Book of Mormon<\/em><\/strong> for months.\u00a0 <a rel=\"attachment wp-att-748\" href=\"http:\/\/rayivey.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=748\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-748\" title=\"mormon on broadway\" src=\"http:\/\/rayivey.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/mormon-on-broadway-239x300.jpg\" alt=\"mormon on broadway\" width=\"239\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.rayivey.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/mormon-on-broadway-239x300.jpg 239w, http:\/\/www.rayivey.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/mormon-on-broadway.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 239px) 100vw, 239px\" \/><\/a>It\u2019s the new Broadway musical written by one of the <strong><em>Avenue Q<\/em><\/strong> guys and the two <strong><em>South Park <\/em><\/strong>guys.\u00a0 So looking forward to that.\u00a0 Obviously I hope to have some quality time with friends as well.\u00a0 I need to watch my budget a bit and not just go dropping $125 for every damn show that I want to see in New York.<\/p>\n<h4>Broadway Shows I Saw When I Was in New York Last September<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson<\/li>\n<li>Next to Normal<\/li>\n<li>Brief Encounter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> New York will probably be an even more challenging place to stay on a good eating regimen than Cleveland has been.\u00a0 In fact,  as far as food goes,  as I look at my itinerary for the remainder of the trip,  it appears that eating low carb is going to get progressively more difficult.\u00a0 (Picture me attempting to order low-carb in Russia.)\u00a0 I\u2019ll just have to do the best I can on that score.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> On the other hand,  balancing out the food peril is the fact that the deeper I get into my trip,  the more likely it is that I\u2019ll be doing an increasing amount of walking.\u00a0 The weather should be getting better and better,  and the sun will be up later and later.\u00a0 Eventually,  when I\u2019m in Russia in May,  the sun will be up until almost midnight!\u00a0 I imagine I\u2019ll be spending less and less time huddling in my hotel room,  like I\u2019ve been doing a lot of in frigid Cleveland.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_747\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-747\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption good about exercise.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been using the gym pretty regularly.\u00a0 I even swam laps on Monday night \u2013 and there\u2019s a pool at my New York hotel as well.<\/p>\n<p> The other night
